Decontamination and Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) This prevents ongoing exposure to the patient and ED staff. Dispose of clothing appropriately and wear PPE to prevent personal exposure. Used for treatment of acutely symptomatic anxiety, muscle fasciculations, and seizures. 7 May lead to respiratory failure.
