Medical anti-shock trousers (MAST) being applied for a trauma patient and a Datascope cardiac monitor in use during traumatic full arrest. Notice the use of the medical anti-shock trousers and the ECG machine. Now, we have ultrasound or CT scans to confirm. From 1978 to 1980 MAST suits were used in most trauma patients.
