No, I don’t give TXA to kids with isolated head injuries We want to stop any clot breakdown to try and slow any potential bleeding. The bottom line was that TXA, when given within 3 hours of injury, reduced mortality and didn’t cause harm, so it’s been widely adopted into trauma management. What about head injury , though?
