AHA and Red Cross Life Support Certifications Should Both Be Accepted

In 2015, it introduced Basic Life Support (BLS) training and certification for EMS personnel. At a recent meeting at Red Cross headquarters, a DHA leader reported that their decision to switch saved the MHS more than $23 million in 2022 and $25 million in 2023. Both advise the American Red Cross on a part-time basis.
