Every patient admitted to the EDAT was followed to the conclusion of their hospital course; the development of this unit and patient outcomes resulting from its execution are presented here. From April 6 to May 3, 2020, 90 patients were admitted to the EDAT. The study was approved by the MMC institutional review board.
