Severe diarrhea and vomiting may lead to volume loss, dehydration, and hypotension (not common). Anaphylaxis and angioedema have been reported, primarily with exendin-based therapies such as exenatide and lixisenatide. 2014 Fall-Winter;11(3-4):202-30. There is an association with pancreatitis.
