Also consider non-hemorrhagic volume depletion, dehydration : orthostatic vitals may uncover this [see Mendu et al. (3)]. Premonitory symptoms (Nausea, pallor, diaphoresis, flushing), or triggers (Valsalva, Pain, Emotion, Prolonged Standing, Dehydration) are very useful in making the diagnosis.
