Characterized by hypovolemia, vasodilation, reduced cardiac output, hyperventilation, elevated temperature, seizure, coma, and cardiovascular collapse. Consider intubation for patients with airway compromise, respiratory failure, altered mental status, or seizure. Blood transfusion for clinically significant blood loss.
