The Nose: the other route to the lungs
Advanced Emergency Nursing from AENJ
MARCH 27, 2015
The nose in basic resuscitation: In an ambulance service for which I worked as a Paramedic at a time when although trained in intubation, it was not yet permitted; our principle device was a nasopharyngeal airway with an oversized 15mm endotracheal tube connector. Some have succeeded with slow full rotation (360°). Always be gentle!
