An 18-year-old woman presented to the emergency department (ED) with symptoms of nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. 8 Diagnosis and Treatment Food poisoning may result in a similar clinical manifestation as Toxic Hypoglycemic Syndrome. Poison control was consulted, and they concurred with the diagnosis of THS.
