Patient Course: Radiographs demonstrated a displaced, comminuted midshaft fracture of the fourth metacarpal. Orthopedic surgery saw the patient in clinic two weeks later, and given the irreducible fracture, the patient underwent open reduction and percutaneous pinning the next day.
